In 2006, William Petit made an adaptation for Finnish dancers of his work East Land – Nomade Cabaret, which was previously made in France.  In Finland, the work was called North Land – Nomade Cabaret and it was co-produced with the Regional Dance Center in Northern Finland and had its premiere in Kajaani, Finland. In Oulu, this work was part of the program of JoJo – Oulu Dance Center and in Pyhäjärvi it was performed as part of the Full Moon Dance Festival. Since then, North Land has been presented on tours in Finland, France and Norway.

In March 2008, William Petit once more produced a new version of his popular cabaret. This time, however, he will combine his French and Finnish teams. This fusion work is called Kabaret Nomade.  The work includes live music, the composition of which is of Miqueue Montanaro (accordion) and is besides him, performed with Balthazar Montanaro Negy (violin) and singer Hassounia. The work will feature French dancers Magali Jaquot, Sabine de Vivies , Yoan Mourleus and the choreographer himself and Finnish dancers Sami Henrik Haapala,  Linda Priha and Pirjo Yli-Maunula.

Kabaret Nomade had its premiere at Centre Cultural Jean Houdremont in La Courneuve, Paris.
